Thanks for the Engelbart post! It is really good to be reminded of a meta-narrative from time to
time, and I think that the idea of "collective IQ" highlights what is so fundamentally hopeful
about the whole process of collaborative association. There is something so intriguing and
extraordinary about the synergy that happens in successful cooperative working relationships,
perhaps because this is one of the healthier unfoldings of human potential. It is encouraging to
remember that this wave of interest in connection/integration is rolling out beyond the dreams of
visionary thinkers into the real world, especially when it often seems as if the profiteers of
separateness would rather take us all to a fiery end than give up old and rigid ways of thinking.
