I would like to participate. Two specific issues interest me. One is the history of social networks in and through art. The other is the problem of why so many networks have failed. The virtues and problems of networks constitute an important stream of research in the social and behavioral sciences, and it seems to me that much of what is being learned can be applied to art. I recently finished a study on these themes for a book on the prehistory of the Internet, and this conference offers and opportunity to carry forward. A short bio appears below.
