Hello everybody,
I'm Shawn Rider . I am a student of Trebor's and currently pursuing my MFA
in Media Arts Production here at UB. I will be assisting Trebor in
organizing the conference, so many of you will hear from me about various
matters.
I come to these subjects with a background in Literature. I also run the
popular independent gaming website, GamesFirst! (http://gamesfirst.com) My
interests vary widely from net cultures to programmable literature to
multimedia work to games and gaming cultures, among other things, of course.
I'm very much looking forward to this conference and to getting my feet wet
in this pool of inquiry.
