not coming from a technological angle but one of organizing activists
and artists I would be interested in hearing a bit more about the
type of metaphors people are using when they talk about collaboration
or collective work. for example the implications of terms such as
networking Vs cooperatives. my question is to what degree does the
former imply identical, fixed digital circuits differentiated only in
a temporal way by on/off, whereas the term cooperative suggests a
temporary grouping of qualitative, singular entities interacting
around certain mutually agreed upon needs. - gs
