The Jacob Wrey Mould Fountain was moved from City Hall Park to Crotona Park in the Bronx in 1920. In the fall of 1999 mayor Guliani decided to move the fountain back to Lower Manhattan as part of the City Hall Park restoration effort leaving the Bronx community without a substitute of any kind.
