// Art project of the week:

T U R N S by Margot Lovejoy http://www.myturningpoint.com/
T U R N S is a community-building Web site focused on the idea of collecting and sharing the story of a turning point in one's life.

The Banner Art Collective design http://bannerart.org created by Garrett Lynch. The new design brings a vast number of improvements to the site, which collects and distributes net.art and poetry created according to the limitations of WWW advertising. The project uses PHP (a hypertext preprocessing language) and MySQL (an open source unix database) to create dynamic relationships, structures, and inference rules among the interchangeable text nodes.

WEDNESDAY:

- printing text
- concatenation: combining strings
- finding occurences of text in strings
